Week 22, 23 & 24

Sofia has found that it is much more fun to sit up rather than be on her back. However, her favorite activity is to try to stand right now with a little extra help:)) Sofia likes to make sure Mom and Dad are around at all times and gets a little fussy if she can't find them. She loves to hang out with her mellow boyfriend Jack and Mom and Dad hope that some of the mellowness rubs off on Sofia! Her new favorite activity is swimming where she could spend hours splashing in the pool.

Week 19, 20 & 21

Sofia had a great three weeks with her Aunt Anabel taking great care of her. She also spent her first 4th of July in Tahoe watching the fireworks over the lake. Sofia can now roll over from her tummy to her back and sit up by herself. We think she will be crawling in no time:)) She also is finally starting to enjoy baths!

Week 17 & 18

Shan returned to work and Sofia is adapting quite well to Astor's family caring for her. She still LOVES her milk and has made her way into the 95% in weight. One of Sofia's favorite activities is kicking and we are worried she is going to take after her Grandma Susan and run everywhere rather than walk.

Week 13, 14 & 15

A heatwave struck San Francisco and Sofia was just not use to the heat as she has already adapted to the cool San Fran weather. However, she got to attend her first Giant's game which kept her mind slightly off the heat. Mother's Day was really "Sofia's Day" as she got to dress up in her the dress her mom wore as a baby and play with a shiny new rattle.

Week 11 & 12

Sofia attended two Cinco de Mayo celebrations and had fun watching her parent's sip margaritas:)) Sofia has already started to like boys and attempted to hold their hands with her good friend Jack and the boys in her playgroup. She also started to grab everything in her sight along with trying to get that thumb to stay in her mouth.

Week 9 &10

A heat wave struck San Francisco in Week 9 and Sofia finally had a chance to wear her sleeveless onesies. She tested them out in preparation for the big trip to Mexico in week 10 to meet Astor's family. Sofia loved the trip because she was never left alone and in some one's arms at all times.

Week 7 & 8

As Dad went to Chile, Mom and Sofia went to Grandma and Grandpa's for the week. Sofia spent the week reading books, singing songs with Mom and Grandma, smiling and, of course, sleeping. Sofia even got to go visit her little boyfriend Jack a few times and her mother, Denby. Sofia is now moving around a lot more and cooing and weights almost 11lbs!
